Last term we looked at underpinning our yoga practise with the Yamas and Niyamas (yoga philosophies suggesting a code for our behaviour on and off the mat). This term, as the weather improves and we start to feel more active, we will build on this with a more physical approach to our yoga practise. We’ll learn more about types of postures and some vinyasas (sequences of postures). I’m hoping this will encourage more of you to practise your yoga at home as well as in class…?
To balance out this term’s more physical practise we have our new Thursday evening class, “yoga for deep relaxation”. This session will be an hour of slow, supported postures with music, readings, meditations and philosophy.
Our classes are all available at Longthorpe Village Hall and also on Zoom (live and as a recording). Please book and pay in advance as we continue to limit numbers.
